Little Mohr Photography

As a child, I remember going to my grandparents' house and flipping through photo albums and boxes of printed memories of their childhood, their wedding and as my parents grew up. I loved feeling the texture of the paper as I admired their life and listened to their stories attentively.

As adult memories have become my most cherished possessions. Whether it be my journals under my bed, the last photo of me and my grandmother framed on my shelf or the family photos hanging on my wall; they are all priceless. I have learned how time can fade memories and how photos have the power to refresh or bring back a buried moment.

Now I pride myself in capturing once-in-a-lifetime moments of a couple saying "I do" on a windblown mountaintop, of a father holding his newborn child with tear stains on his cheeks, of a child looking up at her mom while balancing on her tippy toes or a mother hugging her daughter with one tear rolling down her cheek before she walks down the aisle. I take great care to help families pick their favourite photos to put into an album or to hang on their walls. I smile at hearing stories of how my art becomes a valued part of a families everyday life.

I create more than pretty pictures but an experience that is designed to bring closeness and connection between loved ones and images that become family heirlooms that will long outlive the people in them. My photos share stories and moments that have long passed and bond a relationship between a grandmother and her grandchildren as she shares her life with them through photographs that they flip through together.
